Yesterday Dave and I went to the London Palladium to see Kaiser Chiefs (bit of a random place for a rock/pop gig but it worked). The support act was a stand up comedian called Andrew O'Neil, I've been to loads of gigs but I've never seen a stand up comedian support a music act! So, England went and won yesterdays game against Wales with a last minute winner from Daniel Sturridge (who probably should have been playing in the first place) which pretty much made my day after that frustrating game on Saturday against Russia! A few weeks ago Mum and I decided to do the Monopoly walk, which entailed walking around London to visit all the roads (and stations) on the London Monopoly. This morning I woke up at stupid o'clock to watch a live stream of a Kaiser Chiefs gig from LA. It was pretty cool to watch it and I rocked out in my bed while watching it on my laptop with my headphones in! Even at like 6am I was more energetic than the crowd there seemed to be. Are LA people too cool to dance and sing at a gig? Or is it just not ( Read more... )

It appears to be Friday again already and my Easter holidays are almost over - I go back to work on Monday. With the weather the way it currently is it almost feels like it's the summer holidays already. I guess it won't be long til it really is the summer though ( Read more... )
